Guest guest
I have been on Enbrel for 4 yrs. and celebrex 7 yrs. after going through all the previous meds in the beginning. I feel my whole body is becoming more involved with PA. Some days I feel like a million dollars and then I have trouble doing almost anything. My back, hips and knees are effected. Had epidural cortisone shots in my back several times with temporary relief. My question is: is there anyone taking both enbrel and remicade? If so is it helping you? I've had trouble doing water aerobics which I never had trouble before. I thank God every day we are in FL for winter versus VA with all the snow and cold. Junk food is bad for everyone, regardless of yeast status.
Guest guest
I love Myoplex Lite vanilla cream and have at least 2 per day. I only add 1 cup ice & 1 cup water and blend 45 seconds. The chocolate is pretty tasty too! I hate the orange, peach, chocolate mint, chocolate peanut butter. The banana & pina calota (sp) is pretty good, the strawberry I can tolerate but am not real crazy about. :-) in Texas > Message: 23 > Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2003 15:58:19 -0400 > From: " Vicky Stone " <vstone@...> > Subject: RE: Re: Myoplex shakes > > I just bought a box of Myoplex Lite shake mixes and I had one the other day. > I used my blender and used 12 ounces of water and blended it for 45 seconds > and MAN that made a lot...I was so full, LOL. Guest guest
Ola Everyone! I don't write very often but read daily. I had my surgery in November and have lost 65 pounds. Not great but I feel better. I've been reading all the posts about soda and beer, etc. I do not remember ever reading that we are restricted from caffeine. I checked again today and I don't see it. After I discovered Coffee Tamer which takes out 95% of the tannic acid, I have enjoyed an occasional cup of hot tea with caffeine and have felt pretty much guilt free. Can anyone tell me where it says no caffeine? I would be devastated if we can't but don't want to do anything to hurt the tummy. Also, I'm still losing the hair and have orange peel feeling skin on my face, neck and shoulders? Anyone heard of this skin thing?. Been losing hair since month 5 and have had the skin bumps (they are not red) for about 3 months now. Help, I'm afraid I'm going to be a bald bumpy skinny girl!! Any information you guys have would be great. Congrats to all the big losers. Also read about gaining 10-20 pounds at 2 years? Where did that come from? I still need to lose 20 more and I have not lost this month at all. I decided I could live with being 135 but not if I'm gonna gain 20 back in a year or two. Elise, I don't know if it was neurofeedback or biofeedback that I heard from some parents who had it done to their children and they said that they felt it was a waste of money, but again, I don't know which one it was. Please check with other parents even in other groups to make sure before you invest into it because I heard that it was pretty expensive per session. Good Luck! Grace Dr von Hilscheimer has been providing this brain training successfully since about 1959. http://www.drbiofeedback.com/ It is one of the therapies used at www.amenclinics.com and also found succesful and recommended by the www.andrewreiter.com s Reiter Epilepsy Reserach Center. Also consider the HEG which helps with blood flow through the brain. mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
