Does anyone the name of the eye condition that psoriatic arthritis sufferers

have at around the age of 40.

I think I may have heard someone call it iritis but I am not sure. I only

know I had it one time and that was before I was even diagnosed with PA. At

that time I was still trying to find out what was wrong with me and they kept

days OA.

Do you mean iritis and uveitis? Inflamamtion of the iris and uvea.

I didn't know it was connected to an age. My eye doc told me

everyone, pa or not, needs reading glasses starting about age 40.

Iritis, uveitis, conjuntivitis are all just medical terms for

inflamation of verious parts of the eye. In psoriasis it can be

sight threatening. Serious eye involvement requires Corticosteroids

being INJECTED into the eye itself! I guess that is a little price

to pay for ones sight!
