Dear Marti,

Boy do I know how you feel about the little things these days. I'm not sure

if it's because the bigger things in life can be unattainable at times when

you are sick, like going on a planned family vacation, so you learn to find

happiness where you can find it. I find myself thrilled to be able to go to

the mall, even if I'm in a wheelchair and someone has to push me. The

other day I was excited just to go to the grocery store...lol. I used to

hate to have to do that after work, and it always seemed like just another

chore. Getting out is so rare for me, that it's a big deal now. (Though I

have to say that since I've been on Arava I've been able to get out more.

So far it's been my golden pill. It hasn't taken away all the pain, or

stopped the disease, but I would say I'm at least 30% better and that is

huge for me.)

So I'm happy you are thrilled with your toy. I've been thinking of getting

an electric can opener just for the same reason. Talk about exciting...lol.

Take care and I'm glad you can find happiness in the little things. I think

Hi Marti,

Now that is a good present! I did see you photographs recently and I totally

understand why you need it. It stopped me complaining about my fingers (For

five minutes. Lol)

I will send any jars I can't open over to you Ok? Lol
