Guest guest
Hi hb! We live in Cloudcroft, NM. (For the past two months.) I am thinking the same as you are, that El Paso looks like the most likely place to find a Rheumatologist. However, I met someone today who told me about a Doctor who travels to Alamogordo from Albuquerque twice a month and I am going to give him a call. If you'd like I can send you his name and number to investigate for yourself. If you end up finding out information about a rheumatologist in El Paso who is good, please let me know. Guest guest
Hi Deb, Small world, can't believe you are in Cloudcroft,we can't wait to get there! I found several Drs. in El Paso on Goggle, using Rheumatologist El Paso. A Dr.Marwah Raj MD looks like the one I will try,he is just Rheumatology. They all seem to be connected with Texas Tech Medical School,The Dr. from Albuquerque I had found, not sure if the Dr. or the Residents staff the clinic,as a part of New Mexico University. My Rheumatologist was going to check with the Remicaide rep. to see who has an infusion clinic in the area. That is my greatest need.I really don't want to start over.I am able to function most days with the present meds.It took a long time to get there. We plan to house hunt in Feb and move the last of April. Enjoy the mountains! hb Re: [ ] Doctor in El Paso Hi hb! We live in Cloudcroft, NM. (For the past two months.) Guest guest
Hi hb, Good to hear from you. I am from Scotland but I was in Texas (Austin) for a couple of weeks almost two years ago now, just when the new Governor was sworn in. I loved the place. Take care,
Guest guest
Glad you liked Texas,Austin is nice.I live about 50 miles north of Houston, muggy gulf living. For the postings on eye problems, thought I would share mine. I developed cataracts after a year of Predisone, had one fixed, but my vision is still iffy. The Dr. seemed to think the Meth.might be the problem. I can still read,my love, and drive in the day time.So not to bad. Sue,I am glad you are going to the eye Dr.,I am sure you will be ok. All of us " special " folks learn to cope!! hb Re: [ ] Doctor in El Paso Hi hb, Good to hear from you. Guest guest
--- Hi hb, Thanks so much for the support-I really appreciate it. Today my eye sight is worse than yesterday-like the PA and P is seems to go with flares. I don't do much night driving with the car lights bothering my eyes. Thanks again, God Bless, Sue in Michigan.
