Guest guest
I just read at www.arthritisdaily.com that Remicade is being tested for psoriatic arthritis. Has anyone heard about this or know anything about Remicade? Thanks [Editor's Note: Hi Lynn. A number of our members are or have been on Remicade and I'm sure some of them will share their experiences. Are you in the US or another country? I ask because Remicade is not new in the States. Welcome aboard. Wishing you wellness, Kathy F.]
Guest guest
I was actually on remicade for about 9 months. We switched to it after Enbrel became ineffective at 25 mg. The Remicade was never as effective for me as the Enbrel was when we originally started it. Also, the Remicade was substantially more expensive for me. Enbrel was considered a prescription, of course, so I was charged $25/ month for a non generic. Remicade was an office visit- according to my insurance, so I was charged 20% of the visit. I was on a 6 week cycle so my copay made my out of pocket about $300/ month. lynnbethany <lynnbethany@...> wrote: I just read at www.arthritisdaily.com that Remicade is being tested for psoriatic arthritis. Guest guest
Hi there I'm not sure where you are in the world but I'm in the uk and have been on Remicade for the last few months so it is available here. It hasn't made any difference to me so far but other people getting the infusions at the same time as me have had great results. If you would like more information there are various websites or you tell me what you want to know and I'll see if I can help. I get it on the NHS so I don't know much about prices or anything like that. JakieD > > I just read at www.arthritisdaily.com that Remicade is being tested > for psoriatic arthritis.
