Well my second urine test showed a faint line, and the blood HGC test was .8

and the first range levels are 2-5 for 0-1 week pregnant. My doc won't say

either way if I am or not, he has a wait and see approach, and I don't feel that

way. Iwas hi risk with , diabetic and pre-eclampsic etc. and need to have

all the tlc I can from the get go. I don't see how he can say I'm not. The

first blood test said negative, the second one came back .8 any suggestions????

I agree, MTX is the one to worry about. They have not proven yet what

Biologics do to babies, but so far so good. I would NOT take the MTX

again, since it

CAN cause serious defects. Let me know please! I am thinking about you!

Mel,

Hang in there, and stay off of the MTX. He did tell you to do that, right?

Will one more week, or a few more days, give a definite result? Did you express

these concerns to him? If not, I would call TODAY and express your concern. I

wish I could help MORE!

dear mel,

i'm so sorry you're going through such a difficult time with all of

this. the same type of thing (blood test results) happened to a

close friend of mine - i believe it was after about 3 weeks or so the

test was finally a true positive. my only suggestion is for you to

err on the side of caution and trust your instincts. personally, i

would hold off on the mtx until i was 100% positive i was not

pregnant.

i'll be thinking of you.

I'm so sorry to learn of your miscarry. I agree with

your decision " no more mtx. "

I hope you find a safer way to control your PA.

Ugh... , that stinks! I know you were hesitant to go on it anyway. I

just know my Dr. said to NEVER have unprotected sex while on it, so I know it

is a must to not get pregnant. If you are not trying, and if it was helping,

why not continue?

Mel, I'm so sorry to hear that. I've miscarried twice, I remember

how awful it is. I'll be thinking of you in the days ahead.
