Guest guest
Hi! And...Welcome! Glad you've come out to share your experiences! I understand the " battle " with side effects. I'm not sure what recommendations would be good for you but hope that your next visit with the DR will answer some questions for you. I too have been thinking about " clearing out " all meds and starting over but I guess I am just too " chicken " to try to go without anything for hours...much less days! Would you let " us " know how you do as time progresses? And, if you are able to leave meds behind for a bit what if anything you might use in the meantime? Good Luck! (Va.) Guest guest
When my rheumy put me on the MTX and cyclosporine combination it cleared my P completely, even in my nails, and it put my PA nearly into remission, I only took one darvacet pain pill per day, at night, to help with sleep at night and stiffness in the morning. I have found that combination treatment works best for me. I have had P since I was 9 and PA diagnosed at 20 but symptoms since I was 16, I am now 33. Good luck and I hope you find something that works soon! Axelrod
