Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have been having some problems with high liver numbers. I went to see my rheumy a feww weeks ago and she indicated that I may have to have a biopsy if my liver numbers (specifically ALT) continue to remain elevated. I was being treated with 25 mg MTX when my numbers increased. They are now in dropping the dose to 15 or 20 mg. I now am at the point that I cannot receive my injection unless my numbers are normal I have missed the last two weeks. The pain is slowly starting to return. The question that I would like to ask the people that went through the biopsy procedure is what sort of meds were given to help with the discomfort? I would like to make sure I am as comfortable as possible if and when I go through the procedure. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Louis PS Sorry about lasr night Marti. I got cut off again during our chat, and I couldn' get back on. Better luck next time.

Guest guest
Pain can decrease my desire for sex, but I have a great husband who is gentle and kind, and very understanding. He lets me know that it is no big deal one way or the other, which really takes the preasure off of " performing " . Might I suggest trying different positions? Such as if you are male, possible letting the woman be on top would cause much less strain on you, less work, and provide her with more pleasure. My husband and I often " spoon " it is called, try intercourse laying on your side behind your wife and this is less stressful on both of you as well. One thing I have found out, were there is a will, there is a way. And if all else fails, sometimes intercourse can be avoided and soft gentle touching and carressing is enough to please you both. With a little patience, experimentation, and love you can both enjoy yourselves. Good luck to you, Tamara > what's sex??? lol.. seriously I mean I'm NEVER in the mood, and it > physically hurts.
