I found the following helped with my pain (I am also able to take NSAID) -

aerobic excercise- lymphatic massage = dramatically reduced swelling,

particularly in my fingers and wrists - have a hot wax treatment for hands and

feet. Coat hands and feet in wax heated to 53 degrees C and wait 15 minutes

before peeling wax off. I had this treatment at Queen Hospital, New

Zealand. I believe some beauticians and waxing specialists could do this. - hot

pools. Soak in hot water 38 to 42 degrees C for up to 10 minutes. I can email

the lymphatic massage instructions for fingers and hands and/or wax treatment

instructions if anyone wants them.
