Mercury Amalgams removal

Hello All, In couple of days I am getting my four amalgams out.

Dentist is mercury free but does not provide any detox protocol so I

am going to follow Andy's ALA protocol. My question is when should I

start my chelation, wait 2 months, 2 weeks or start right away. Also,

list of supplements in the supplement section is quite baffling .

Could any one recommend what they used themselves.

Thanks in advance!!!

Whoa,

Please hold on for a bit....

You might want to postpone that plan and rework it a little. You

really do need to find a savvy dentist who uses protective protocol.

You probably shouldn't have four out all at once.

This is coming from a person who did it wrong - me! I had all

amalgams out in one week. The DDS was fine with removing amalgams,

but used zero protection. This was unwise and that (plus some other

things) has cost me over four years of really bad health.

Please do more studying on proper removal. Removal stirs up the

mercury too much and you need to space it out. Then, I believe you

need to wait some time before beginning chelation.

I read this as meaning the dentist doesn't offer a _chelation_

protocol - good thing because most dentists don't know how to chelate

properly and give out poor supplement and chelation advise.

If you want to check to see if your dentist is protecting you properly

during amalgam _removal_ check the guidelines at the www.iaomt.com web

page.

If you were starting with DMPS or DMSA you could start a couple of

days after removal, provided you are sure that all amalgams are

removed and there are no other hidden sources, like under crowns the

dentist didn't want to bother to lift.

ALA should not be started until 3 months after amalgam removal or

recent exposure.

There is a support group for adults chelating with Andy's

protocol - frequent-dose-chelation. There is useful information in

the files and links of that group.

My supplement list is so long it would be quite baffling as well.

The basic list that Andy recommends is not very long.

Start with the basic list that Andy gives on pages 133-134 of " Amalgam

Illness " www.noamalgam.com

A person really needs a copy of " Amalgam Illness " to refer to during

chelation. Andy's " Hair Test Interpretation " book is extremely

helpful too www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html

Andy repeats the basic list several times in posts to this group.

Some can be found in the Andy_Index on Moria's site (linked to from

the group home page) or by searching using www.onibasu.com
