Guest guest
Any idea why a possibly mercury toxic person could have small brownish black patches on the skin of the leg? This is regarding dh, who did meet the counting rules, but we have not done a Porphyrins test yet to figure out if other metals are involved. He has these patches on one leg below the knee area. We noticed it after a recent problem with itchy skin that he had in various areas of the arms and legs, chest and back. (I applied coconut oil, started supplements of Lysine, B-Complex, Vit C, folic acid, which is keeping it under control - I do suspect that when he indulges in his sweet tooth the problem gets exacerbated). The interesting thing is, his dad has the patches to a larger extent, had premature greying (as dh), happened to work in the metallurgy department (no idea if there was exposure), and now we are wondering if his dad has mercury issues too. Are the patches totally unrelated? Thanks
