Guest guest
This is my first post so I hope it's appropriate. I have a year and a half old girl with PDD, We started investigating the Mercury poisoning path after we met a couple who told us about it. When she was five months old her mother had 4 huge Amalgam fillings removed in a time when she was still breast feeding. On retrospect it looks like from that time on (when she was 5 months) everything went downhill until about 2 months ago, when we started an intensive program with therapists and she is moving forward faster now. The hair test results from the DD lab came back this week with very high Aluminium (45) which is about 7-8 times from what the max is. She doesn't meet the counting rules as far as I can see, but still the results are not normal and we need to get rid of the AL and possible Mercury. We are in UK and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a local Dr. who can conduct this investigation and perform chelation if needed. Thanks for all the good information here. 's Dad. Hi 's Dad, Welcome to the list. If you're not already a member of the ABE group you may want to become one. Many members from the UK there who might be able to give you specific advice on a practioner. There are practioners listed here http://www.treatingautism.ik.com/home.ikml and also a number of people go to the Breakspear in Hemel Hampstead. I am currently in the UK and it is my understanding that all of the practitioners there follow a DAN! protocol for chelation, which I don't happen to think is a very good option. Many people, like me, do chelation on our own, following the Cutler protocol, and order tests on our own as well through the States. I hope that might help, Anita >
Guest guest
quick thought...because of synergy, when trying to lower aluminum exposure/toxicity, I would look into eliminating as many possible sources of fluoride (along with aluminum) as possible... wishing you the best answers elizabeth > > This is my first post so I hope it's appropriate. > > I have a year and a half old girl with PDD, We started investigating > the Mercury poisoning path after we met a couple who told us about it. > When she was five months old her mother had 4 huge Amalgam fillings > removed in a time when she was still breast feeding. > > On retrospect it looks like from that time on (when she was 5 months) > everything went downhill until about 2 months ago, when we started an > intensive program with therapists and she is moving forward faster now. > > The hair test results from the DD lab came back this week with very > high Aluminium (45) which is about 7-8 times from what the max is. > > She doesn't meet the counting rules as far as I can see, but still the > results are not normal and we need to get rid of the AL and possible > Mercury. > > We are in UK and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a local Dr. > who can conduct this investigation and perform chelation if needed. > > Thanks for all the good information here. > > 's Dad. >
