Guest guest
Thanks for posting Margarita and please post as you go along. I could never figure out how to get the oral DMPS and its expense meant that I never tried it. Its quite usuall to be a bit off on the first day off, if it gets worse or worries him a lot them you could always try doing a longer round of say 5 days. Are you giving mineral supps all the way through? I always have on DMSA Mandi decided to start oral DMPS chelation for my son is.We did the first round two weeks ago and he felt very well. I gave him 30 mg of DMPS (by Heyl) every 8 hours.During the round he was much better, happier, smiling and looking at us in a more intense way.only one day after the round he didn't feel so well.I'm planning to start a new round on Saturday. Guest guest
Hi Margarita, Thanks for posting about Oral-DMPS. I know lots of List Members are or will be using TD-DMPS (ours is in the cupboard with the LipoGSH waiting to begin when Dr Usman tells us it's okay), but that does not mean other alternative Chelators / protocols are not used, welcome or discussed. Please keep us updated on progress & side-effects, etc. In the meantime - very best of luck to you all. Cheers, Steve, Joanne, Callum & Ellie-Mae Barnsley, UK - Cloudy & dry - for now :-) - XXXX - > Dear friends > > I decided to start oral DMPS chelation for my son is. > We did the first round two weeks ago and he felt very well. > I gave him 30 mg of DMPS (by Heyl) every 8 hours. > > During the round he was much better, happier, smiling and looking at > us in a more intense way. > > only one day after the round he didn't feel so well. > > I'm planning to start a new round on Saturday. > > I know that TDDMPS is discussed here, but if you are interested, > I'll keep you posted. > > Greetings from Greece + a lot of sun for everybody > > Margarita
Guest guest
Margarita, Great to see the improvements on DMPS, hope they continue. I'd be very much interested in being kept posted on progress - we're doing oral dmsa/ala. One question - where on earth did you get oral dmps from? regards, Stuart >From: " mikroalex " <mikroalex@...> >Reply-Desperate4DMPSEurope >Desperate4DMPSEurope >Subject: oral DMPS >Date: Thu, 19 May 2005 15:59:08 -0000 > >Dear friends > >I decided to start oral DMPS chelation for my son is. >We did the first round two weeks ago and he felt very well. >I gave him 30 mg of DMPS (by Heyl) every 8 hours. > >During the round he was much better, happier, smiling and looking at >us in a more intense way. > >only one day after the round he didn't feel so well. > >I'm planning to start a new round on Saturday. > >I know that TDDMPS is discussed here, but if you are interested, >I'll keep you posted. > >Greetings from Greece + a lot of sun for everybody > >Margarita > > > _________________________________________________________________ It's fast, it's easy and it's free. Guest guest
Dear Mandi I'm giving him minerals every day - I checked the Heyl site and it says that DMPS doesn't " attract " (I don't remember the exact word) Magnesium and Calcium, and the bond with zinc is weak. It also says that DMPS shouldn't be given SIMULTAENOUSLY with mineral preparations. So I asked Andy Cutler and he told me that giving minerals one hour after the dose of DMPS is OK. One year ago we did a few rounds of DMSA, and then DMSA/ALA. My son learnt to " poo " in the toilet during the first round. He was making progress, but seizures enhanced and I was afraid and stopped. In January 2005 we went to Germany and my son had a surgery ( they removed a tumour from his brain) - it was A MIRACLE - he has no seizures since then. Now I resumed chelation and I hope nothing will stop us now. Comparing DMSA to DMPS : DMPS seems to agree much more with my son. Maybe it really is a better chelator. Maybe that's the secret of Buttar's success ! DMPS is quite expensive but the cream (TDDMPS) must be more expensive, especially for an older child with greater weight. I pay 200 euros for a box of 20 caps (100mg), but it is somehow - I don't know how to say it ... If you can get a prescription a box of 20 caps costs 128 euros. greetings for all wonderful parents Margarita -- In Desperate4DMPSEurope , Mum231ASD@a... wrote: > Thanks for posting Margarita and please post as you go along. Guest guest
Dear Stuart I couldn't find your e-mail. I have a friend who is a pharmacist and he orders it for me. I suppose he doesn't need a prescription. But of course I have to pay extra for his help. > Margarita, > > Can you simply purchase DMPS without perscription in Greece? > > > > >From: " mikroalex " <mikroalex@h...> > >Reply-Desperate4DMPSEurope > >Desperate4DMPSEurope > >Subject: Re: oral DMPS > >Date: Fri, 20 May 2005 16:56:53 -0000 > > > >two suggestions : > > > >1)I would try to find any doctor and say I NEED DMPS because I am > >mercury toxic. > >I obtained one prescription in this way. > > > >2) without any prescription (but it's a little more expensive) > > > >greetings from Greece > > > >Margarita > > > > > -- awright! IN THE US: We have not heard of a non-prescription source for DMPS in the US. IN SWITZERLAND: DMPS is non-prescription. One can go to a drugstore and order it. They usually don't carry it in stock, so you order it then go pick it up. You can order some variations of dosages. Heyl makes it. IN TURKEY: DMPS is sold over the counter. You might try contacting the Merloni Pharmacy in Switzerland - should be a link in the files of this group and or at Treating Autism site HTHMandi in Dorset
Guest guest
We used oral DMPS & my son had been doing well on it (Better then DMSA) but then he developed a rash. His dr thought it might be an allergic reaction so we stopped, however, was it just a good detox sign & we gave up on a good thing? (this was years ago) I'm considering another try but wanted input on that first. Thanks, Michele
