OK my wonderful brainy listmates...any ideas? My DH is complaining of a sudden

onset of weirdness in one lower quadrant. Says it starts across the buttock &

sort of wraps around the thigh onto the quads and down to just below the knee.

Says it feels kinda numb...maybe kinda sick & /or heavy. There's no swelling,

temperature difference, or discoloration. It's persisted about 3 days. Again,

sudden onset. Last of his amalgams were take out about 6 mos to a year ago, but

he hasn't started chelating yet. He' s 60 & generally in excellent health. I'm

scared.

TIA,

Debra

Debra,

Sounds like a shingles pattern but without the rash or skin

sensitivity. Does he have a history of shingles?? My DH had a

shingles outbreak a couple of years ago (with the rash, pustules

etc.). It cleared up by itself within 4-6 weeks, but he still gets

tingling and sensitivity on his lower back wrapping around his side

and down one leg on occassion.

Lysine will eliminate shingles.
