Guest guest
I posted this in a similar thread a while ago, but I'm not sure anyone saw it. There is a passage in Amalgam Illness about mercury toxic people who feel and function better while fevered. Andy says in it that people who experience this will benefit from taking borage oil, as it increases formation of a particular prostaglandin that elevates your temperature and affects how you feel. This prostaglandin is eaten up by mercury, so supplementation will help people who experience this. He also notes that it should be taken without aspirin, as aspirin does something or other to block the formation of the prostaglandin. The relevant paragraph is on page 127 of AI. On a related note, I've noticed in the past that I seem to feel more normal while fevered, and I'm just today starting on borage oil to see what happens. I'll post back with the results if anyone is interested. > > The study cited below showed that some children exhibit temporarily > improved cognitive function during fevers. > > In light of this findimg, I'd like to suggest that parents with > children using saunas might experimentally use the post-sauna time to > teach new things to their kids as this might be an opportune learning > time for them. > > Bob. > > http://health.usnews.com/usnews/health/healthday/071203/fever-may- > improve-behavior-of-children-with-autism-disorders.htm >
