ALA in CLO, sulfur, copper ???

I was reading labeles on the supplement bottles, as I periodically do, and

noticed that the Carlson CLO we've been using for about 2 months now, (since

pre-hair test, pre- me knowing much of anything about metals or chelation) has

20 mg of ALA in it. Is this true of CLO in general or was it likely added to

this brand?

I am assuming I have been rearranging the metal in my kid every night for

the last 2 months without actually removing any of it. Might explain some ups

and downs, but anyway...

I have stopped the CLO. Do I need to wait before beginning chelation? Or

does it not really matter at this point?

We aren't quite ready to start yet anyway, because of the copper. His level

was 32 with a ref range of 9-30. (his test is posted in the File labeled " Hair

Tests - temporary folder for hair test review " . Once in this folder, his is

labeled " Ian's Hair Elements Test 6/08 " ).

We are doing 30 mg/ 3x/day of zinc and 150 mcg/ 2x/day of molybdenum (just

started this one - how high do I work up to?) to address copper.

I thought I had to wait before starting, but recently read someone saying

that if copper was high you could take 3 days off for each day on, until copper

came down. Anyone have thoughts on this? I am hoping it is reasonable, since he

is barely above the ref range.

Last question for now, how do you know if your kiddo is high or low sulfur?

Which means to avoid sulfur-y foods?

Thanks!
