Guest guest
Hello, We had an allergy test today and the test results showed no allergic reactions to anything. Her Histamine spot was 6x7 but everything else was 3x3 or less. She swelled with the salt water so that doctor said that is seems my daughter in sensitive and just easily swells. We went because yesterday, her babysitter put OFF Skintastic on her body including her face (because she seems to always get bitten on her face). She broke out in hives immediately after it was put on (she has never broken out before with the OFF product) and she was bitten anyway and bite swelled to the width of a golf ball. I also asked the allergist why did my daughter get diarrhea and cramps from dairy products, why does she throw up grapes, why did her skin swell when you put latex on it, etc. (this is an Allergy, Gastro, etc. type clinic). She said that my daughter is one of those that easily swells. So I said, don't just tell me anything to get me out of here. She told me that if I wanted a different test done, let her know and she will do it. So, am I in the wrong place? Should I see a different type of doctor? What type of test should I be asking for? I really want to try and do something about the extreme swelling; I'm really trying to avoid giving her AntiHistamine everyday. I also wanted to see if I can find more information about foods she may be allergic too. TIA
