Guest guest
I've read in some forum that both fluorescent light bulbs (neon?)and low consumption one are bad for mercury toxic people as they release mercury vapors and that's why some people find themselves worse shopping in supermarkets using these. Has anyone got any real data regarding this? Thank you, Babz.
Guest guest
Yes, it is true! This is why we cannot throw out light bulbs in the trash. Further, the incandescent ones have lead in them. I think the safest choice at this point is LEDs. They are becoming more and more popular as they use much less electricity than fluorescent and incandescent . You see LED flashlights and nightlights everywhere now. But the light bulbs can be hard to find, since they haven't quite hit mainstream. They are out there though!
