Guest guest
I've never actually heard that digestive enzymes and probiotics need to be seperated by 2 hours. I *believe* they're OK to give at the same time. If I'm wrong, someone please let me know! Sheri > > How do yal give these 2 hrs apart when the enzymes are to be given with food? If I give the probiotic in the yogart upon waking in the early am then he is not hungry enough for a good breakfast it seems? He only drinks water & goats milk which I know not everyone agrees he should be drinking but I haven't found any other drink other than water he can have, so I have to give the probiotics in milk or yogart. He will drink lemon water with a little honey but we are off all sweets for yeast right now. Any sugestions? > > > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > Be a better friend, newshound, and > know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
the Felice said in her book " Enzymes for Good health " that one will need to call the manufacture to find out for sure. The concern is that the protease (enzyme that digests proteins) will digest the good bacteria since they are living organism. Guest guest
We use Klaire Therbiotic Complete and, like you, we mix it in yogurt. This particular probiotic isn't specific about giving it with or away from food. What I do is give the enzymes & the rest of the supps before the meal, eat the meal, and then give yogurt/probiotics for " dessert " . This puts the enzymes and probiotics about 30 minutes apart and still lets the yogurt digestion be assisted by the enzymes (I hope!). We've always done this and a recent stool test showed 4+ levels of good bacteria. Hope that helps! (Max's Mom) > > How do yal give these 2 hrs apart when the enzymes are to be given with food? Certain enzymes should be given apart from certain probiotics. Most can be given together. Contact your enzyme supplier for more information on the specific enzymes you are using.
