AlaMax CR ALA tablets by Xymogen?

Is anyone using AlaMax CR (controlled release) ALA tablets by Xymogen?

If so, how does that affect Cutler protocol's dosaging? Can we use it

for night time only, because supposedly it's extended release (that

part is FDA approved according to my pharmacist) and it remains in the

body for 6 to 8 hours? The problem is that each tablet is 400 mg and

crushing the tablet would interfere with the slow release property.

Would giving 1/4 of a tablet just for night time work? Thanks so much.
