Guest guest
said that better than I ever could, and without the typos! However, I will add that for many kids, metals are the root of the problem, and cause digestive, immune, endocrine and other problems. For those with metal problems, until the metals are gone (or significantly diminished) and certain pathways fixed (methylation, etc.), the other stuff can be ameliorated with supps, diet, etc., but not resolved long term. We saw benefits from Valtrex, and I am just thankful that we chelated during the five months we were on it, because the gains would not have justified the time spent on it without the chelation. Keep in mind that antivirals cause massive amounts of yeast. If you don't have yeast under control now and can't put in Rx antifungals, you will most certainly struggle with yeast on an antiviral protocol. It may even set you back further. One of the biggest things in our arsenal is astragulus. Per Andy, it boosts NK cells. My son often comes down with something while on it, but has always come out of it better than he went it. Trust me, you probably don't need the big immune system guns yet. If I were you, I would leave them until he is stronger....
