Guest guest
You probably mean Valtrex. It is a prescription drug originally developed to treat Herpes (genital herpes, cold sores, shingles), but some parents have found Valtrex works wonders as an anti-viral for their children on the spectrum. I haven't tried it. One parent started an entire website/chat group/movement after he saw Valtrex help recover his child (Stan Kurtz). Pam > > What is this used for? Guest guest
`..... > > What about Nistatin? Isn't safer than Nizoral? > > Zurama > Nystatin is safer, but it's generally less effective than Nizoral. All the azole antifungals (Nizoral, Sporanox, etc.) , are stressful to the liver. So it's adviseable to check liver enzymes routinely when dosing wiht htese over extended times.
