Ok, it looks like you have a path forward with ALA, but if you need to look

into DMPS, then you can ask the list if there is anyone in or near TN. I

understand that finances are an issue, but it may be that one initial

investment would be enough to get your on your way.

Ok, it's hard. I wonder, could you make a little behavioral reward system for

him? Is there anything that he particularly likes? Open your mouth for this

dropper, I'll give you ... X?

Ok, if the seizure like symptoms are a worry, then consider lowering the dose.

What you are giving now is actually a reasonable size dose - weight for

weight, it's more than I can handle as an adult. My weight equivalent dose is

5mg, and I'm progressing fine.

I've had trouble with a rash that appears right in the center of my chest, on

the sternum. It only happens when I use ALA, and it's clearly an outbreak of

some kind of fungal infection. I use coconut oil after showers, and it helps

to control it.

I don't find it's presence surprising, since mercury accumulates predominantly

in various organs, including liver, kidney, heart, brain, and _skin_. So, I

just try to take care of myself, brushing the skin in the shower, and sweating

a little if I can.

That does sound fast. I'm not sure what it is.

>Colby doesn't sweat much. He can run all day and never sweats.

See AI p.49. It looks to me like he needs some thiamine to decrease the

sensitivity of the relevant acetylcholine receptors, and some acetylcholine

precursors, like lecithin.

Ask the list if anyone has used this method to help their children sweat.

>Ouch!! Blisters! Colby's was kind of dry looking and flaky. I don't

Thanks Again,

Thanks Dave!

>Great idea but he doesn't understand rewards. Even if he did

understand, I don't think it would help because he's so dang stubborn.

Wouldn't be anything like his mother, would he?

(Would have to be, or else you wouldn't be surviving! :)

Well, let's see. There must be _something_ he likes, something that you could

give him right away. How does he communicate what he wants? Are you able to

work with him at all on communicating, you do this, I'll give you that? Is he

verbal at all? Do you use PECS? My guess is that underneath all this, he's

not a dumb kid. If you figure out how to work with him (I know that's the hard

part), he's going to begin to pick something up.

But anyway, from your previous emails, it does sound like you might be able to

work with him for one night, perhaps once or twice a week. The hope is, with a

little chelation, your ability to work with him might begin to improve.

>He already gets thiamine. What would be a good upper dose for a 42lb

Let's see ... it's a vitamin B, so basically (except in rare cases and except

for B6) you can give a lot and it won't hurt. Where to start ... I have to

look this up. Ok, in AI, p.165, for adults he suggests 100-500mg might help.

So, divide this by 3 for a 42 pounder, and you get 30-150mg. Start with 50,

maybe.

>Thanks Dave!!

Well - let's see if it works.

:)
