Guest guest
I have never tried biotin. What is this for and how is it administered? Do you mean to try a 3 day ALA round as per Andy's protocol? Well, I never did ALA alone, but I will try it next weekend. Thanks for the suggestion. I did one month of Valtrex/Diflucan but didn't notice any difference, so I quit. I wil continue, as I said before, on the chelation treatment. Thanks Dana, I hope you can help me more by giving me some information on Biotin. THANK YOU ALL. Dino [ ] Re: Killing yeast: WE DID IT! > After three months his test results showed no more yeast. > What does this mean for him? Depending on the test, it probably means there is no more yeast in the GI tract. Most tests don't indicate if there is yeast elsewhere tho. >>I noticed dark circles under his eyes went away, excessive waxing from his ears went away, constant running nose went away. However, he's still showing many autistic traits: light and sound sensitivity, toe walking, verbal stimming, etc. Those can be caused by yeast overgrowth in other places in the body, or they can be caused by other issues entirely. Do you give biotin? > His doctor thinks metals are not an issue for him, because challenge test didn't show any metals, so I'm wondering, is he ever going to overcome his condition? Challenge tests, and in fact most tests, are only about 80% accurate. Try one round of ALA, see if you notice anything. If in fact there are no metals, you might try addressing viruses, which was a big part of my son's condition. What are the verbal stims? At my house, those were addressed with supplements, not chelation. Dana =======================================================
Guest guest
> > I have never tried biotin. What is this for and how is it administered? It is a B vitamin that is manufactured by the good bacteria in the gut. I gave it as capsules. It is the body's way of controlling yeast overgrowth. > Do you mean to try a 3 day ALA round as per Andy's protocol? Yes, do a 3-day protocol with low dose ALA. > I did one month of Valtrex/Diflucan but didn't notice any difference, so I quit. Try giving vitamin C and lysine.
