Hi Mandi,

I actually got a bottle of VRM4 a month ago and feel hesitant to start. I could

not really find any parent who have experience with it to ask for feedback.

VRM4 is a herbal blend and not of homeopathic preparation. It was recommended

to us by Dr. Lee Cowden in Phoenix, Arizona, one of the big names in using

alternative medicine for detoxification. He told us to use B12, L-Glutathione

(suppository), Penella (liquid herb for eliminating toxins from brain and

central nervous system), and Burbur (liquid herb for detoxing organs and

purifying blood) in high frequency for the first 7 days of using VRM4 to prevent

headache, nausea, and vomits, and to continue with metal chelation.

On Systemic Formulas website, it warns that do not begin with VRM4 unless one

plans to complete it entirely (for 6 moths). Also, VRM4 should be taken 3 hours

away from a protein meal. All this constraint makes the program difficult to be

execute.

I wonder if you have further information of experiencing this supplement. After

we added other liquid herbs recommended by the same doctor to speed up DMSA/ALA

(based upon Andy's dosing and schedule), we have been getting a better metal

pulls in Mercury and Lead. But we feel hesitant to start VRM4 due to the

possible adverse effects and warnings, and would like to learn more from others'

experience.

We did VRM1 - it was horrible. The side effects were terrible and

although you can never be sure what actually triggered a regression

(for example we did ours after a two week schedule of flagyl) - we

would never go there again. Also, it's not possible to say you " have

to " commit to six months surely - if you see your child in terrible

distress (as we did) you reduce or stop something, that's common

sense. So - we didn't make it as far as VRM4 and perhaps that's much

more innocuous but I would really encourage doing lots of research

before starting and as Mandi says, working alongside a homeopath.

Apparnetly they are able to counter it better. NOt sure why we had

such problems but I do know that we were not alone in having them. If

you post on the homeopathy site you'll find lots of parents with

similar stories and also some with tremendous gains. Sorry to sound

negative but I would be cautious and watchful.
