Guest guest
With my son, I can say it didn't destroy his giftedness, he is still extremely amazing with music and understanding/dissecting of it. But, it did affect his OCD, so he now spends less intense time with his music and needs more outside motivation. So, I think the capability is there, but the interest may be shifted due to the lack of OCD. P. Guest guest
My son is still extremely gifted but also happier, healthier, and more well adjusted. None of his giftedness was destroyed in our 8 months of chelation. His OCD fear of water and leaving the house is gone. MCS (chemical sensitivity) is gone. Headaches are gone so he can study. His language is back so he can talk. He was able to learn to drive. He goes to community college and is getting a 4.0. He would like to go to MIT or Harvard somehow. He just got a job delivering Wheat State Pizza. He came back from a 12 hour work day and asked me to give him a backrub. Before chelation, he would NEVER let anyone touch him. Now he is gifted and cuddly. He plays with his siblings where he wouldn't before chelation. Everything has transformed for him for the better. Guest guest
My son is more gifted than he was before we began. He can express feelings, communicate appropriately and build the most complicated leggo structures...his imagination is huge and smart and he knows more than we do usually. The only strange gift he lost was the ability to catch fly's with his fingers when he was 18 months old..if you call that a gift...which was odd because he didn't make eye contact with people but somehow he could snatch a fly out of the window with his fingers.... But other than that...he's way better off. > > My son is still extremely gifted but also happier, healthier, and more well adjusted.
