Guest guest
We just finished our fifth round with DMSA, every 4 hours round the clock, with mass supplementation via Cutler's book. No amalgams, no new shots since 2003. My son has these tiny bumps on his cheeks, forehead, and upper arms. He has always had them, but now they are more pronounced. They don't itch, aren't red, you can't even really see them unless you really look close, I just felt them tonight while I was bathing them. Any ideas what this could be? I read omega-3 deficiency, but he gets plenty of that. Is it yeast? I had him on GSE, but took him off a couple of weeks ago to see if some behavior would be effected by it. I'm not too worried about it, it just seems that it is trying to tell me something. Thanks for the help! Blaire

Guest guest
Blaire, Are you certain you child is absorbing the omega 3's? My son was taking large doses of CLO for two years before he finally started absorbing them. Testing showed him to be extremely deficient in the 3's and 6's--crazy earwax problem corroborated the test results. Only after dealing with certain gut/food issues did we start seeing a relationship between what we put in him and what he was actually able to use. Here is one from Metametrix that is just a finger prick and focuses just on fatty acids: http://www.metametrix.com/content/DirectoryOfServices/0241FattyAcids- BloodSpot I used a different, more comprehensive test from this lab and found it very helpful. Guest guest
> With regard to the 'anti-viral' component of eliminating this 'chicken skin' which we also experience, can I have my son take OLE with his other vitamins and probiotics in the morning during breakfast or must it be taken away from these items? I would give OLE away from probiotics by at least 2 hours. > In other words, what are the limiting factors of OLE ie. empty stomach, with food, with probiotics or away from probiotics, etc.? Don't take it near the amino acids glycine, lysine, histadine, and cysteine [including NAC]. I don't think it matters whether or not empty stomach. > I would like to start my son on these anti-virals but am unsure as to how to go about it..... Any advice will be most appreciated. Guest guest
> Also, thanks Dana for your link! You are so on it!! I knew my kids still needed OLE because I tried removing it and my kids significantly regressed. Vitamin C and lysine were essential also. >>Also, what kinds of aminos have you found work for > your group? We are currently on Taurine, Tyrosine, and L-Carnitine, > but I am always thinking that there is something that I could be > missing. I am hesitant to do a " blanket " amino mix, though. The aminos that helped my kids were carnitine, taurine, lysine, cysteine, probably more but I can't remember them now. >> And > what is IP-6? A demineralizer. I used it to eliminate calcium and iron toxicity. Then I figured out why my son was toxic [he was not properly absorbing] and fixed that problem. I also used IP6 to eliminate my kidney stones. Guest guest
My daughter has little bumps on her arms and face but they are like little pimples. There is a white substance in them. Is this what you all are talking about? Thanks so much. danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > My son has these tiny bumps on his cheeks, forehead, and upper arms. > He has always had them, but now they are more pronounced. Guest guest
Our doc called it Eczema?? It sounds like those tiny bumps my kids had. They only get them when they eat too much dairy or drink milk. Make sure they are not eating anything they don't tolerate. Even milk free now, sometimes they get them if they have had junk food that they are not supposed to eat. > > My son has these tiny bumps on his cheeks, forehead, and upper arms. > > He has always had them, but now they are more pronounced. Is this what you all are talking about? Thanks so much. That sounds similar. Sometimes they are white, other times they have no color. Dana > I wrote what eliminated my #3's " chicken skin " here.
