Guest guest
In his article " Is Psychiatry Dangerous and Scientific ? " Dr Jim Hownestine, M.D. mentions a remedy made from Tumeric. As Tumeric increases bile production it may be very helpful in detoxing mercury. http://www.newswithviews.com/Howenstine/james58.htm *What Is Avea?* Turmeric (curcumin) has long been used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine as an anti-inflammatory, to treat digestive disorders and liver problems and for the treatment of skin diseases and wound healing. Curcumin stimulates the production of bile and facilitates emptying of the gall bladder. In animals curcumin protects the liver, has anti-tumor action, reduces inflammation and fights some infections. Avea is an extract from the root of Curcuma longa, commonly know as turmeric. Nutramedix has a proprietary formulation of curcumin that is more effective than conventional curcumin because of special extraction and enhancement techniques. The German Commission E reports that curcumin has no known contraindications, no known side effects and no known interactions with other drugs. In May 2005, toxicology studies were completed on Avea at the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador. No toxic effects were seen even when the animals were given doses 160,000 times the equivalent human dose. *Patients suffering from depression often report relief from depression within a few hours to a few days after starting Avea*. A 38 year old woman had been seriously depressed for more than ten years despite therapy with several different pharmaceutical drugs. When started on her first dose of Avea she felt less depressed after thirty minutes. The depression was gone in 24 hours but the therapy was continued. The dosage of Avea is ten to twelve drops three or four times daily. Patients who respond rapidly to Avea should remain on this therapy for one to two months to allow the body to reset neurochemical balances in the brain. Patients who have been taking SSRI drugs should slowly taper off SSRI therapy over many weeks if they wish to terminate SSRI therapy. We think that persons trying Avea for depression will be pleased with this safe rapidly acting therapy. Avea can be obtained from naturalhealthteam.comphone 1-800-416-2806 and from nutramedix.com phone 1-561-745-2917. Guest guest
This particular liquid herbal remedy Avea (extracted from the root of Curcuma longa) seems to help my son excreting Aluminum. We have been chelating my son using oral ALA/DMSA based upon Andy's dosing/schedule for more than 18 months. My son excreted all kinds of metals, but we did not get an elevated level of Mercury and Lead until we added NDF (micronized and cell wall decimated Yaeyama Chlorella Pyrenoidosa) to the ALA/DMSA mix in June. However, we almost never got any Aluminum. In the search to find what natural substance can chelate or mobilize Aluminum in the brain, I read a parent Internet post listing a link to an article titled " What Are the Best Non-Drug and Alternative Options for Therapy of Alzheimer's Disease? " . It is mentioned in the article that in addition to ALA, Silica Acid and Curcurmin (crossing BBB) also chelate brain Aluminum. Because NDF and NDF Plus contain Silica, I went ahead to add 3 drops of Avea for a trial into 12MG ALA and 6MG DMSA administrated once every 2 to 2.5 hours. We just got our most recent UTM, and finally there is some Aluminum reflected in the test result. I plan to increase Avea dosage for a few rounds of chelation and UTM to see if the level of Aluminum can be steadily increased. I will post an update later. Guest guest
Is avea just basically tumeric like you find in the grocery store? Guest guest
Avea (liquid extract) seems to be much more potent than Curcumin or Turmeric in powder form. We used Curcumin in the past for quite sometime to reduce inflammation and did not see any excretion of Aluminum. We just started to get a pull on Aluminum after adding very low dose of Avea (3 drops) in ALA/DMSA/NDF mix. I do not know for sure if this liquid remedy does the wonder. Or because the fact that it is used together with ALA, DMSA, and NDF, they produce some synergistic effect to chelate metals. Avea can be purchased at NutraMedix website: https://www.nutramedix.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4 Limin Re: [ ] turmeric good for liver and more In his article " Is Psychiatry Dangerous and Scientific ?
