Guest guest
Oh i bet a lot, it seems they have their hands in most of our media. We are putting every one else at risk...at risk of finding out the truth! That their children are human guinea pigs and being poisoned. This country thrives on fear and scare tactics...and this is what they are trying to do. It's disgusting... Good for you for turning the magazine. > > > The current issue of Time Magazine has a cover story about how those concerned about vaccines causing autism are putting everyone else at risk. Guest guest
Check out the Time article and the picture of the baby. He's only 6 weeks old and he's getting 5 immunizations. I remember the day I questioned the pediatrician about the five my DD was scheduled to receive. I asked him to spread them out over 2 weeks. 2 one day and 3 later. This was prompted when he said that they would inject my DD arms instead of her legs because little ones sometimes stop walking due to the discomfort. Why is the schedule so aggressive, early, toxic? I won't be put her at risk again. http://tinyurl.com/6ojr5j > > > > > > The current issue of Time Magazine has a cover story about how those > concerned about vaccines causing autism are putting everyone else at > risk. This twisted logic of how the few who choose not to vaccinate are endangering the many who do vaccinate has been around for some years afaik - maybe it's a response to a growing community of those choosing not to? Barring a successful effort to force vaccinations the next step may be adding additional boosters to the schedule because of the supposed increased risk of the great unwashed, er I mean unvaccinated. We just signed up our daughter for the local rec program this summer and they had a vaccine waiver form - we're in NYS fwiw - for us to fill out which asked for a detailed explanation of why we didn't vaccinate, how long we've done this, and whether it applies to some or all vaccines. Their questions ended up being a paragraph long, but we knew enough to simply state: " We do not vaccinate because it violates our deepest and sincerest religious beliefs " Funny thing is they read that and didn't say a word. Guest guest
Okay, So to date my DS & DD are up to date on vaccines, but I'm either getting ready to refuse or to start picking and choosing and ordering my own (I will mortgage my house to the hilt to protect my children). My question to this is: Does anyone lie about whether or not their child is up-to-date? Just curious, because -frankly- I've considered it. Guest guest
Dana, I have considered lying, too, but never attempted it. I figure they would ask for proof. Although, when I had my 2nd baby (no vaccines for her, and she's the healthiest thing I've ever seen!!) the doctors and hospital pressed me my entire pregnancy, severely, for a flu vaccine, and they pressed my 7yo son for one, too, saying that if he didn't have one that he couldn't come to the hospital to visit us!!! I called the head of the department to complain, etc, etc, and she told me " it's not like they're gonna check or ask or anything. You'll go on in to deliver, he'll go on in to visit. No big deal. " And nobody ever checked or asked (Hooray!!!). Score one for the team!! Just curious, because -frankly- I've considered >it. Hi, Dana at first we did lie, occasionally. But as time went on, and I got tougher and armed with more and more facts I tell the truth--strongly. Part of my boldness is that we live overseas, and there is no CPS or anything to knock on our doors and remove our children for no vax, co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, vegetarianism, all the reasons they can/do in the U.S. I don't know how evangelical or forthright I'd be if I lived in the U.S. again...but here, I consider it my duty to educate at least a couple of doctors. One or two are actually listening. For any overseas family, we don't even have to bother with exemptions. It's wonderful. We also know a lot of families who do not vaccinate. Maybe more, percentage wise, than in the States. best, Liora in Beijing

I never lie, because lying will end up getting me in trouble. If I am asked if my child is " up to date " , I state that my children have a state vaccination exemption, and will no longer be receiving any further vaccinations. Guest guest
The schedule is so aggressive in part, because they figure parents will hear the truth and not complete the vaccine series, so they try to get as many in as early as they can. Guest guest
I definitely agree with this. Why else would there be birth vaccines. A little kid can't tell you how he/she feels, you aren't told what a mild allergic reaction looks like - or signs of encephalitis, so before you know it...your child has long-term damage from repeated insults. It's really a form of abuse. > > > The schedule is so aggressive in part, because they figure parents will hear the truth and not complete the vaccine series, so they try to get as many in as early as they can. > S S > > > Re: Disgusting Time Magazine cover > Posted by: " orelindel " whatmattersmost@... orelindel > Thu Jun 5, 2008 6:01 am (PDT) > > Check out the Time article and the picture of the baby. Guest guest
The vaccine schedule is so aggressive because they have a captive audience. Parents want to bring their kids in for well-child checks to see how much they've grown, so The Powers That Be decided it would be a perfect time to inject them with vaccines. Absolutely no science behind it, whatsoever. I find it mind boggling that they hold on to that schedule in the name of Science when it is all about opportunity. I love (sarcasm) the caption under the picture of the infant getting his vaccines... saying he bravely faces his vaccinations. Do you see how they are holding him down? Poor child has no clue what is going on. " Brave " implies you have a choice to face it or not. I don't see this as abuse, but stupidity and arrogance on the part of the doctors. I've got to believe any doctor who starts to question if vaccines can induce Autism, allergies, autoimmune disorders and such would stop vaccinating or alter how they vaccinate. That is how our DAN! doctors came to be. I think the remaining docs think they are smarter than we are, or they simply don't care too much because they personally don't see the connection. My father is a retired pediatrician. Right now, he holds on to the belief (based on what he is being told and the information he is being provided) that vaccines are not behind the rise in Autism. If his mind changes, he will be devastated. For his sake, I hope he isn't around when that time comes (and it will come). I know not all docs are like that.
