Guest guest
She does not have loose stools and I do not believe she is drinking the water at bathtime. I am thinking about having an allergy test done. Maybe that will take some of the guess work out of what type of food is bothering her. This is so frusturating. She had a fever on Sat and Sun and today, so I have been giving her Infants Motrin(dye free). That could also be making her stomach hurt more... I just want to take the stomach pain away.... she is very moody and agressive towards her younger sister. Her moods go up and down so much. I looked at my chart and over the past two weeks- I had one good day with her. Happy, loving, helpful, not hitting-this is the person I know she can be... BUT, try restarting the supplements 1 by 1; giving days to weeks in between starting another to weed out the problem supplement(s). Intolerance varies from child to child. Some tolerate everything; others not so much. Some react violently; others are more subtle reactors. The negative symptoms also vary from supplement to supplement (B6=hyper; glutathione=diarrhea/cramps; folic acid=sleep disturbances in our house). With those multiple vitamins and minerals, it could be just one of the ingredients that is causing a problem. Epsom salts can be problematic for some kids. I recall hearing about pale kids with dark circles??? If she is ingesting the water during the bath, maybe the salts are giving her loose stools or cramps? I don't know. Ah, the fun of figuring it all out. I don't always enjoy the ride... Pam > > and other supplements? Guest guest
She is still complaining after giving her both enzymes and CLO. I did not give her the CLO this morning, waiting to see how she feels today. Her stomach feels hard-not sure what that means(right at her belly button) How would the epsom salt baths cause a reaction? Maybe I should stop those too. Thanks for your help>Sheila In a message dated 1/1/2008 10:08:55 AM Central Standard Time, danasview@... writes: In , " thedyes " <threebabygirs@...> wrote: > > and other supplements? Add them one at a time and watch for reactions. The most important thing I did for my son, was to determine WHY he did not tolerate certain supplements. Figuring that out, caused my to figure out more things that his body needed. He ended up requiring almost all supplements, but most of them required precursers. And some he did not need because he was toxic in those nutrients [primarily minerals] so addressing the toxicity was helpful. > Cod Liver Oil My son did not tolerate this until I did mito cocktail and preloaded. http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm > Kirkmans Spectrum Complete Multi-Vit My son never did well on a multi, probably because most of them contain minerals, and he required carnitine for proper absorption of B vitamins, vitamin C, and a few other supps. > Kirkmans EnZym-Complete DPP-IV I believe this contains papain and/or bromelain, which some kids don't tolerate. > Ther-Biotic Complete My son never really did tolerate probiotics, I used biotin instead. > Brain Nutritionals Spectrum Support Minerals My son was toxic in most minerals. > Epsom Salt Baths I never used these, I did No-Fenol enzyme instead. >>I stopped all of the supplements except for the CLO, and > enzymes. Does she do okay with those, or is she still complaining? My daughter complains of stomach problems when she eats fats without mito cocktail http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm I think that enzyme contains papain, which some kids don't tolerate. >>Her stomach > feels hard-not sure what that means(right at her belly button) Food/supplement intolerance, yeast overgrowth. >>How would the > epsom salt baths cause a reaction? Depending on the reaction, might be too-fast phenol detox. Try reducing her daily phenol load and/or use No-Fenol enzyme http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Dana
