Hi Barb and others,

I went to a seminar about autism & the media yesterday. One of the speakers was

Biklen who co-produced the movie Autism is a World. He has a new book

out about young people with autism who originally learned to communicate using

facilitated communication and now type independently. It's entitled " Autism and

the Myth of the World Apart " . Barb, I thought it would interest you and Craig,

since if I remember correctly, Craig learned to communicate through typing,

perhaps originally FC, and now speaks more than he used to? If you want to get

in touch with Biklen, let me know. I asked if he knew of Craig or Craig's book

" Embracing the Sky " and he said he didn't.
