Guest guest
My mother has started top have some symptoms lately, and of course, the docters do not really know whats happening. -insomnia - she has been using a RX sleep aid, and is now reporting needing a LOT of sleep to get through the day (in bed by 9:30) -Short periods of be 'uncoordinated' - suddenly stumbling and not being able to control her legs/feet to walk properly. -memory loss. She says it's not typical, where you can't quite remember all the details of a conversation - She has no recognition of the conversation ever happening. The docters suspect she may have been having 'mini-strokes', and her symptoms seem to have stopped with 'asprin therapy' -blood thinner. She knows of the time and research I put into Jacks health, so when I suggested she not get the flu shot this year, she agreed with no argument (though she has gotten the shot yearly, for many years). I also shared with her some of the topics being discussed right now like alziemers and MS, and how these are strongly linked to metal poisining. She has had a LOT of metal in her mouth, fillings, root canals, you name it. Over the last ten years, it has been eliminated (purely frustrated, with all the dental work the dentist wanted to do. So whenever there was a another problem she instructed him to 'just pull it!' She now just has a bit of metal in her bottom plate, that she only wears when she leaves the house. She did have a Lyme disease test, which came back neg. However,I thought I've read these test are not accurate at all, and that false +/- or very common. She does live in a high deer/tick populated area, with a cat, and for 6 months looked after my dogs. Is there anything we can do to get a definate pos or neg? She now would like to test herself for metals. She does highlight her hair, so we could wait a little while and collect some hair for a hair test. Or should we do the French Porphyrins test? I'm really excited that she is on board with this. I would love to get some test results and get her started on some good supps. My parents are due to visit us at Christmas time (we are currently in the UK) If not before, we will sit down together then and discuss chelation, probably ALA, but I'm worried about the night dose, beings she is using the sleeping pills. So that's where I am right now. I'd love to hear ANY comments or suggestions -Jenna
Guest guest
She can have a hair test done using pubic hair, or wait a couple of months for new head hair to come in. The essential elements test is available through www.directlabs.com (check with DDI about how long to wait after hair color). Andy's list of supplements and possibly diet interventions will help with symptom control. His " Amalgam Illness " book is available at www.noamalgam.com The supplement file and the " Diet - how to pick the right one for your kid " are in the files section here. Both will help her to make changes to her diet and pick out supplements. Adequate Mg may help with the insomnia. Andy's hair test book has many case histories that are encouraging to read www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html If you get her started on these things now then you can teach her how to chelate when she comes to visit. One lab that does the porphyrins test is here: http://www.labbio.net/ J > > My mother has started top have some symptoms lately, and of course, the > docters do not really know whats happening. > > -insomnia - she has been using a RX sleep aid, and is now reporting > needing a LOT of sleep to get through the day (in bed by 9:30) > > -Short periods of be 'uncoordinated' - suddenly stumbling and not being > able to control her legs/feet to walk properly. > > -memory loss.
