I'm always looking up whats good to use during chelation. I've haven't

thought about what to stay away from. Is there any supplements I

shouldn't give on " ON " days?

Thanks

Although you will sometimes hear that you should not give minerals on

chelation days, Andy strongly recommends against following this

advice. That advice comes from a dangerous protocol (Buttar) and is

risky. Supplements should be administered consistently, 3-4 times per

day (except fat soluble vitamins, generally) and everyday, chelation

or no chelation.

What lab did the hair test?

I am a little confused about which number goes with which metal.

If it is a DDI or Great Plains test, you can post it in the hair

test folder in the files and we can help you interpret it.

That's right, these tests often don't show high mercury. That is

why we apply the counting rules to check for mercury toxicity:

Hard to utilize tests not done by DDI or Genova at least in the means

of applying counting rules or looking for deranged minerals,

adrenal/thyroid issues. True that little to no hair mercury indicates

a problem.

I had NO detectable levels of mercury in my hair despite having 12

amalgam fillings in my mouth for 20 years at the time of testing.

Which meant daily I was being exposed to insane amounts of mercury

vapor every day. Neither of my kids showed any hair mercury

either..both are toxic and met rules with DDI test.

I think there are many adults who do not get rid of Hg either, despite

what docs think. Me for one...

Without reference ranges on this test, it's hard to know what they

consider to be high. Other than you know he is contact with metals and

that's enough.

You might know this, but having such low mercury levels in the hair

is a good indicator that he is storing it in his tissues. Some

doctors don't know that, and will assume this result means mercury

isn't a problem.

Regardless of where the hair test was run, it is quite old. I would

do another one. This time, if you get one through Doctor's Data, Inc

(DDI), people here can help interpret the results. The test costs

about $100.

It is hard to tell you much about this old test, since there are no

reference ranges.
