I have been told not to chelate during antibiotics. I don't know

about the cough syrup.

Many thanks! I decide not to chelate for the duration when my child

is sick.

To be safe don't chelate while the child is on antibiotics, cough syrups are

okay. Chelation is stressful enough without adding an infection and an

antibiotic, wait at least 3 days after he is well and off the antibiotic. Hope

your little guy feels better.

starting DMSA chelation for my son using Andy's protocol this week. As

my 4yr old occasionally keeps getting cold/cough, can we use doctor

prescribed antibiotics (amoxycillin) and cough syrup

(Chloropheniramine) during chelation?

(4.6, normal is <1.0) in the RED. The counting rules match 1 clause

out of 3. Copper and Sulphur are in the normal.

IMO

What you want to do is figure out what is causing the cough;

since the digestive system is something like a kitehen sink's

plumbing; what happens is; just like a sink gets clogged and the sink

does not drain; so is the digestive systemp.

When the digestive system backs up with CONSTIPATION; A COUGH

RESULTS !

(So i would recommend vitamin C and make note is he is constipated;

you could also try a product called MUCINEX; dissolves thorat phlegm.-

Thanks to you Anne and for the useful response!

We started TD-DMSA today on our little one following Andy's protocol

and hope it goes well. He's already on Vit C.
