OT: portable alarm which alerts based on configured interval

Since I will start AC protocol, I think certaily I need an alarm to

alert me every 3 or 4 hours.

I thought my mobile phone could help, it doesn't. It only allows to

configure three alarms of time of day, not interval.

Any recommendation? Is it time to change to more fancy mobile phone?

I'm with Verizon wireless.
