Guest guest
Do they eat more light colored fruits than you do? pears, peaches, etc...The tin in cans helps the lighter colored fruits Keep their color. It is often packaged this way (in cans) for this reason. fwiw elizabeth > > I really need to identify were the TIN that both of my kids have (my > dh and I don't have TIN) comes from. could it come from the porcelain > tile that we have in our house? any other ideas? help! > > Fita >

Guest guest
If your children have derranged mineral transport, the amount of tin on the hair test versus what they actually have may not be that high. Mercury can cause a person to retain high levels of specific metals, and/or cause them to look extremely high on a hair test. It may be that your children are exposed to very high amounts of tin, but rather that they are not excreting it. -------------- Original message -------------- From: " Fita " <fita3@...> I really need to identify were the TIN that both of my kids have (my dh and I don't have TIN) comes from. could it come from the porcelain tile that we have in our house? any other ideas? help! Guest guest
Most tinned food from US sources is in aluminum (easy to crush) or steel (harder to crush) cans. Those canned elsewhere and then imported into the US may be in tin. Guest guest
apologies, was Not about tin...That thread was mostly talking about nickel...however, I seem to remember that tin is used - in the polishing process, maybe, in metal items. fwiw wishing all the best answers elizabeth > > stainless steel pans? kidsware? stuff like that? ...I am > thinking " Dean " had some good posts on this not too long ago...will > try to hunt them down later (need more minutes in a row than I have > right now)...wishing you the best answers, elizabeth >

Guest guest
I didn't see the original post, but if the issue is that your child has elevated tin and you're trying to figure out where it comes from, then you should know that if the child is mercury toxic, then mercury toxic people tend to accumulate tin - along with arsenic, aluminum and antimony. So, chelate the mercury and the tin will come down. Dave.
