yeast and fungi: where do I start?!?!?!?

I guess I was not paying attention here regarding yeast and fungi. I have CD and everytime Im on Prednisone I get oral thrush. Im assuming I am covered with yeast and Fungi.

Wheres a good place to start learning about this stuff? Ive been taking LDN for a few weeks and Im thinking I should have taken care of the thrush issue first? Why does LND not work if your infected with yeast overgrowth?
