Advice to calm 4 year old son

Last july, I began biomedical treatment for my then 3 year old son.

His little brother, 17 months younger, slipped deeply in autism

within two months of his older brother. They were both pretty severe

but completely opposite in behaviors and problems. Logan, my

youngest, always was very low energy and would either sit in a

stroller all day staring at the wall or be banging his head on the

floor.

, big brother, was always out of control, breaking everything,

screaming, running away, trying to rip everything off of the walls.

I am so grateful that in one year my youngest is recovered and doing

unbelievably well. He wouldn't have recovered without Valtrex. It

saved him.

's progress has been slower, but he has made remarkable

progress. He started out with no speech except for the few lines he

had memorized from Oobi. Now he can have and initiate short

conversations with me. He plays very well and home and has become

increasingly creative. He does really well at speech and ot. But

when he are out on the street with the neighbors, he is very hyper,

extremely emotional and obviously different from the other kids.

Every time I get him ready to start Valtrex, he has a major yeast

flare up or gets sick. I keep praying that it will work miracles on

him like his brother.

Half of the time, my husband and I almost feel like he seems more

adhd and that if we could calm him down he would be fine.

Any suggestions?

Thank You,

Warren
