Guest guest
Hello Marcy, I had cancida when I had breast cancer, my ND tested me on candida, and it was way too high, it was suppresiing my immune system, which was one of the reasons my body couldn't fight the cancer. I took some nutritional supplements, in two months my cancida was gone. Love Naz mpormann <mpormann@...> wrote: Ladies, this is interesting! My breast cancer has ulcerated. A couple of months ago it became very inflamed and much more painful than usual. I had cultures taken at the ulcer site and they came back positive for staph and candida. I was put on antibiotics and something, I can't remember the name of the drug, for the candida. The staph cleared up quickly (3 weeks---I rarely use antibiotics so I guess they work well for me) and the pain lessened, but the candida persisted and I was switched to diflucan. In the meantime I saw my holistic doc who is very much interested in the New Medicine. His thoughts were that the critters might just be there for a reason---simplistically, to assist, rather than to complicate, the cancer healing. I stopped taking the diflucan, and although I haven't had a culture in a couple of weeks, I know that the candida persists. And the pain recently has been awful. Can anyone shed any light on this? --Marcy
