Guest guest
Thanks Amy! I still feel so out of proportion sometimes! My weight loss has really slowed down - about 5 pounds per month now - and I seem to only lose weight one week out of the month (the week of my period) and then nothing. Oh well, 5 pounds per month is a healthy weight loss average! About getting together in DC - I will call you. I don't know if the time I have available with the convention and everything else going on will match with whatever time you have. I have your number. If not in DC then maybe we'll meet up at the picnic or the Christmas party! Guest guest
Dear members , what I am gonna post is a silly question. My problem is that I'm not an english-speaking guy, and I have been very impressed by the cure rate of some of the alternative treatment you talk about here ,I am expecially interested in dr. 's and dr. Budwig's protocols. As far as this last is concerned , I would like to know what really is " cottage cheese " : yes I know it's silly, but here in Italy I haven't been able to translate the expression , not even asking people from UK or US. Recently I started taking Flax Seed Oil + Yogurt, since I read you can use yogurt in place of cottage cheese, you only need more (is it true ? Can I use white raw yogurt in place of cottage cheese, blending it together with flax seed oil ?). I have not cancer (at least, as far as I know, but I'm waiting for the results of some routine analisis ....) but I lost both my parents to cancer, and one , my mother, died at 53 of colorectal cancer, which I know has high familiarity, so I better be careful ... I'm starting Budwing protocol as a prevention measure, since I am at risk, but I would like to do it the right way. Thank you Leo

Guest guest
Not a silly question at all!!!! I use to do that all the time before my surgery!! Since my surgery I can’t throw up at all, which kind of sucks sometimes LOL. Here's my thing: does anyone else just randomly puke up/regurgitate food, even when you haven't recently eaten? It may be a dumb question....but I'm sick of pulling over on the side of the road, leaving the dinner table, and sometimes not making it somewhere decent to lose my lunch (from four days before). Is this normal for the rest of you? More dumb questions to follow, I'm sure!
Guest guest
Before my last surgery I did that many many times I felt like i had a metallic taste Or say "rotten" food And that was the only way to feel better -- A silly question Okay, I'm new to this forum and I've looked around a little....I've been diagnosed with the big A for about four years and like the rest of you, it's the bane of my existence. Here's my thing: does anyone else just randomly puke up/regurgitate food, even when you haven't recently eaten? Guest guest
Hi, Don't worry, there are no dumb questions. The only "dumb" questions are the ones you don't ask!I recognise your problem, I have the same thing. I have a little theory for it. I think the esophagus is storing the food, that cannot enter the stomach at the time, for a while, but sends it back up when it's getting too much, or is there too long. I often wondered though why my esophagus can't get things down but does seem to get it back up! The funny thing about Achalasia is that not everybody has the same problems and not every hint or tip works for everyone. But there will always be a group which will recognise your bit, which is soooo helpful. Take care and don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have! Best wishes from Holland, Astrid A silly question Okay, I'm new to this forum and I've looked around a little....I've been diagnosed with the big A for about four years and like the rest of you, it's the bane of my existence. Here's my thing: does anyone else just randomly puke up/regurgitate food, even when you haven't recently eaten? Guest guest
I used to do that prior to my second surgery. the reason for this is because your throat is stretching out and holding food and you then later regurgitat those contents back up. I have had this happen 24 after eating a meal. in Georgiamamasusu3 <mamasusu3@...> wrote: Okay, I'm new to this forum and I've looked around a little....I've been diagnosed with the big A for about four years and like the rest of you, it's the bane of my existence. Here's my thing: does anyone else just randomly puke up/regurgitate food, even when you haven't recently eaten? Guest guest
Hi Shella, Thanks, that sounds like a logical explanation. I am scheduled to have all those "nice" tests again on 26 and 27 February (inclu, so will find out then if this is the case with me also. Take care!
