Guest guest
http://www.islandnet.com/~hoffer/ [ ] BREAST CANCER, PLEASE HELP: diet, cleanses, supplements, over-all plan We need help from others farther down the path of healing breast cancer. Here's the story so far: My partner, Janet, was diagnosed last month with invasive ductal carcinoma. The doctor's recommendation was for immediate surgery, a mastectomy, because of the proximity of part of the mass to her nipple, possibly with chemo and tamoxifen afterwards. We decided against the surgery and have been researching conventional and alternative treatments. I do the bulk of the research, as I simply do not have faith in conventional medicine to heal the body, don't accept the conventional treatments as healthy(!) and have some good experience with alternatives. Without my encouragement to consider alternatives, Janet would already have had surgery. Immediately after being diagnosed, we (I do everything with Janet, same diet, etc. as support) we stopped eating foods that cause the body to be more acid; no more alcohol, meat, fish, dairy, wheat or sweeteners of any kind. We have been eating very lightly, just raw fruits & vegies and juicing. We get daily exercise, plenty of sunlight, saunas and good sleep. We also started on a parasite cleanse (ParaGone), which we're in the middle of. Janet also did two colonics. In appearance, Janet is healthy as could be, in generally excellent physical condition, very active. The supplements we're taking are as follows: Cell Quest (a banana sap enzyme) Wobenzyme Essiac tea Digitoxin Vacustatin (convolvulus or bindweed) Artemesinin NK & T cell enhancer RM-10 CoQ-10 flaxseed oil (w/cottage cheese) DIM graviola antioxidant capsules tumeric fennel MSM vitamins A, B-complex, C & E apricot kernels raspberry seeds (Ellagic Acid) calcium magnesium Rhodiola yew extract Green Vibrance (nutritional powder) Bio-Bac (from Spain, no longer available- a friend had some his sister-in-law did not use) The only additional supplemnents we're considering taking is B-17 and MGN-3. At this point in the research, what looks to be the best path forward is to commit to a set program of fasting, to let the body rest. Dr. Schulze's " INCURABLES " program is what we're considering (http://healingtools.tripod.com/DS_pages.html#new specifically: http://healingtools.tripod.com/incurprog1.html and http://www.vegsource.com/talk/raw/messages/20067.html ), beginning with the juice fast, super foods, castor oil packs, high enemas, hot & cold showers, cold sheet treatment, etc. -Does anyone have experience with this method? Recommendations? -If this is the path, what, if any, of the supplements should we continue taking while doing the juice fast, etc? -Are any other supplements recommended? -Are any other healing programs recommended instead of Dr. Schulze's? We want to decide on a comprehensive program and stick with it. * * * OUR MAIN REQUEST * * * Janet would like very much to talk with people ASAP who have treated/are treating breast cancer solely through alternative METHODS, regardless of results. There's nothing like real life experience to help her decide what course to take. There are too many people telling her to get surgery as soon as possible, don't wait (don't think). Hopefully some of you will help balance this. The best way to contact Janet is by phone, in Florida, at 541-350-7843. Second best is through my e-mail: balloonman1999@... Urgency is important. I'm American, but Janet is British. She's in the US on a visitor's visa that expires this week. We leave for Europe on Wednesday evening. Because she is covered by the socialized medicine in England (and not insured in the US), she has scheduled surgery in England, on May 10th, as a fall-back plan. Thank you for helping us. Best wishes to all!
Guest guest
I would consider switching from the Wobenzyme to the Omnizyme. Omnizyme seems to have a greater potiential for help. You can find more information here: http://home.bluegrass.net/~jclark/enzyme_therapy.htm You'll find that it has a much greater amount of both a-Chymotrypsin and Trypsin which, in my understanding are supposed to be the primary enzymes that fight tumors. I have a friend who is using a combo of Vitalzyme, and Omnizyme to help in his fight against lung cancer. I'm sorry I can't offer more help, or encouragment. Perhaps others can. You can find more information > here: http://home.bluegrass.net/~jclark/enzyme_therapy.htm This is *almost* the same formula as Megazyme Forte at http://shop.store./healthgenesis/zyme48.html , which has 2.5 mg of zinc per tablet instead of 1 mg (and is $20 cheaper). I found what I suppose is an older listing of Megazyme Forte ingredients at http://www.1cure4cancer.com/products/megazyme.html but the link to order no longer works. It states 10mg zinc per tablet. Perhaps the manufacturer keeps lowering the amount of zinc, which is good. 1 mg is about right for a product meant to be taken in high dose since many people cannot handle a lot of zinc without causing stomach cramps. I myself can take no more than 10 mg at one time with food and on an empty stomach, no more than 5. turf

Guest guest
Thanks for your suggestion for the MGN-3. Best wishes to you. Bill > Hello Bill, Wow! You have a lot of bases covered. Having been down the path, without the loving support Janet has, I did/doing most of what you have listed. I worked hard to get my ph up to 6.8. I have found a replacement for the very expensive MGN-3 and that is Host Defense by MycoMedicinals, www.newchapter.info I get them at my health food store, they are certified organic and cost about $27.00/60veg caps. When I was first diagnosed I took 6 MGN3/day. I had stage 4 breast ca and had the breast removed. I did not have chemo or radiation. I did go on Taxmoxifen, that was in May 03. Good luck and God Bless you and Janet. patti ave been removed]

Guest guest
Thanks. We'll decide which is best, good to know the options. Guest guest
Hi Bill, I am much in the same situation as you, my wife has invasive ductual carcinoma, 40 years of age. However, has rushed down rollercoaster of conventional medicine a week ago had her breast removed, etc. I am trying to slow her down and consider consequences, etc and see the other side. As far as I am concerned conventional does not treat the reason the cancer is there, only chops or poisons away the evidence. Until they can no longer do so without killing the person outright or the cancer has gone. I wonder in many cases whether it has gone because the person has a wake up call and changed their lifestyle or whatever. Anyway I write this to ask that you keep in touch I'd like to know how your wife goes and successes you may have. Best wishes with yourself, I also know very much what you are going through. It's hard but life moves on and you adapt even though I am still very angry and lost lots of sleep it's lessening. Whatever the case I am fully committed to get my wife onto the alternatives I've seen and improve her immune system via diet and lifestyle particularly exercise. Not that she is overweight but she isn't exactly fit. The removal of further lymph nodes though has me worried as the impacts here immune system, oh well. cheers.. Guest guest
Ron and Bill, You guys hang in there. I would not have the courage to alternative if my family didn't support it. Get books for them to read, constantly talk about the fact that there are no guarantees going conventional, allow them to have their feelings but back up what you have to offer with research. Ralph Mosses book " The Cancer Industry " is a great eye-opener. See if you can get them to read that. But really, the decision is there's and they have to be the one to come to grips with it. Bill, I spoke to Janet the other night and she's definitely on board with the alternative thing. Just keep encouraging her and researching. Ron, hang in there with your wife. Maybe get some research on woman who've got lymphedema because having their lymph's removed. Good luck and God Bless!
