Guest guest
_Click here: Grouppe Kurosawa Natural Medicines Blog: mTOR, AKT, and Cancer. How Glutamine_ (http://grouppekurosawa.com/blog/2005/12/mtor-akt-and-cancer-how-glutamine-can.h\ tm) After reading a newsletter from MD on the most recent updates to EZH2 enzymes, the AKT switch that make breast cancer more aggressive I finally came across this site, again but looked a lil closer this time, which had practical applictions to the info. I took the time to look at it and I am just stunned. I think some of what this physicist, Dr Steve has to say may be right on like with mixing turmeric with coconut milk to make it more bioavailable. He is definitely advocating decreasing ATP using volunteers and his own lab mice. He is big on NO antioxidant supplementation but stating it is okay if found in the diet stating otherwise it protects cancer cells instead. He states that what is used to prevent cancer like glutiathione is the opposite when treating cancer. He adcocates L-glutamine to decrease glutathione and ALA to get lactic acid into the cells and avoiding NAC. I thought it his wife not sure, but she is treating her cancer with his protocols and has used Paw Paw with good success. His blog gets increasingly more controversial with stating eating large amounts of sugar, exercising and supplmenting with ALA. Deliberately raising homocystine by drinking alcohol and not exercising. Nonetheless and even still some of what he advocates makes real sense, Glutamine is a big part of his protocol, ellagic acid and quercitin which by the way ellagic acid is said to be synergestic with paw paw, graviola. He recommends glutamine and D3 for prevention and treatment of bone mets, indiviually balancing out the cal/mag and only using it for 3 days at at a time. He addresses coffee by the way. My two cents is I know for a fact it aggravates fibrocystic breasts, which is thought to be able to convert to malingant. The juicers, I own both. Think the standard juicer is great for carrots and have heard NPs state the juice is not thin enough in a centrifuge like a Vita Mixer to be absorbable and that mixing it too long kills the nutritents. I say bahh, add more water, and one would never mix long enough for it to heat up. Plus too with the convience I am apt to juice more.
