There are so many 'natural' things we can eat that are converted to needed

glucose they are unnecessary to mention. It is unnecessary to eat table sugar

or candy to get needed glucose.

There are also so many evidences that processed sugar is not a good thing and

one only need discuss this with a diabetic. The spike in insulin caused by high

glycemic foods both processed and 'natural' has a negative effects on our

system.

I remember bragging to a Naturopath, over 40 years ago, about the wholesome fig

juice I was giving our newborn son. He remarked that I should not overdo it

because it was still a lot of Carbohydrates. Forty years ago! I have always

held the belief that most of our troubles were with Carbs and, of course, those

carbs mostly from processed foods and sweets. Perhaps that is why there is an

epidemic of diabetes raging throughout the youth of America and perhaps the

other Westernized nations.
