Guest guest
In the last daily summary I appear to have stirred up some feelings and thoughts. What I try to do is help others from my own learnings and maybe give hope and better lives - especially where newbies are hit with either fear or despondency. I am increasingly of the view that there is no 'cause-all' for cancer and similarly there is no 'cure-all'. That includes statements such as 'we create our own disease'. I do not know whether that is true or not. What I do know is that we can create the environment in which the disease can proliferate and take over - so just possibly - and not always - maybe we can create an environment inside our bodies where the disease cannot do that or maybe even can be destroyed naturally. So what I propound is more of a strategy than a 'cure' - including all or anything that makes sense as being good and excluding all or anything that appears to be bad. It is also based upon our animal existence - our bodies have evolved over millennia but our beliefs and diets evolve so much quicker. Fast food and junk foods, processed foods, high pesticides/pcb foods, etc. Our bodies are not designed for them. So by 'reverting' to as near-natural diet as possible we can ensure that we do get what our bodies need with a minimum of pollutants - and it can be fun. In terms of spiritual healing - or the spirit - or psychology? Stress can certainly induce cancer to return or maybe even to occur, So its removal and reaching calmness and peace can only be helpful for longevity - maybe more. So whilst I have little/no faith in the power of light rays coming through crystals, for instance, the calming and centring effects of such therapies may just make a difference to any one person. I have met people who are certain their survival is due to alternative therapies - such as going to a healer. I see no harm in trying several such therapies at modest cost - and at least enjoying and relaxing. As for the journey meditation process - I feel that these meditative (maybe hypno-therapeutic) practices can clear deep seated and hidden inner stresses. I have helped people replace harmful emotion, such as grief or hurt, with positive emotion such as the joy for life. I have no idea whether such subconscious change can elicit a clearance of a disease (as suggested by Bayes) but I am certain it can help relieve stress and help focus one on a better path for what is left of our journey. And all these things encourage an appreciation and betterment of the quality of what remains. Maybe psychological 'crutches' to help people at first and maybe occasionally as the journey so needs. Which or what has given me my own response - in terms of quality time now a factor of 10 of their prognosis? I do not know and I can only guess. But if others choose to adopt what I have done - I see no harm - and much benefit even if their treatments do not ultimately work. But what I do believe is that for any one person - myself or any one of you - or possibly even all in this group? - such changes for the better can make the difference between prognosis and a longer successful life. Eventually, with age, maybe our immune systems will fail and the beast will return - but maybe, with treatments and positive changes - the remaining cancer cells can be cleared forever Faith or despair? Our choice should be Hope and faith every time :-) Love and Healing Ian
