I know a fair amount about the Block Center. I think Dr. Block may insist that

patients do fractionated (relatively low-dose) chemo (which I'd do only as a

last resort), along w/alt. treatments. IF I was looking for integrative

treatment (other than IPT) in the US, I think he might be my 1st choice. He's

had much success w/met. breast and prostate cancer.

> Anybody have any other good clinics to recommend

Besides , Block, & other Kelley practitioners, if I had

cancer, my top choices of clinics would be

I think CHIPSA tends to be best suited for highly motivated patients who are

willing and able to maintain a strict diet and work hard in their recovery, and

I think that other hospitals are probably best suited for less motivated

patients who are not so hard working/highly motivated. I believe CHIPSA's most

most effective w/melanoma, lymphoma, breast, colorectal, SCLC lung, ovarian,

prostate, early-stage pancreatic cancer, and perhaps certain sarcomas. " Good

success in...astrocytoma " but ineffective w/all other brain tumors. I would NOT

go to CHIPSA if I had leukemia (particularly acute leukemia), mesothelioma, a

poorly functioning liver (but they're effective w/liver cancer and liver

metastases), a damaged immune system, or if I'd had chemo.

Also W. Lee Cowden, M.D. in the Ft Worth, TX area (outpatient).

I'd consider Burzynski only if I had a brain tumor, NHL lymphoma, or colon

cancer met. to liver, and money wasn't an issue.

Let me know if you'd like more info about any of the above or any other clinics.

> [Any clinics] to warn us all about?

Yes, dozens, but I wouldn't feel comfortable listing them. Let me know if you

were wondering about any particular clinic.
