Guest guest
We have HCS and ABA is not covered under it because this is considered educational and if the person receiving HCS is under 22, it is to be provided by the school district.(lol) I opted for foster care and get a small income to supplement our income. most of the money goes for this therapy and that therapy and their really isn't enough to pay for a good ABA program. Our HCS provider is trying to get a dayhab together that does ABA. It has apparently fallen through the gps as I have heard nothing about it. If they do get one set up I will post it to the list. Guest guest
Hi Janice, I don't have much to offer as I've only just taken my 3rd shot but I still have the bruise from the first one. My skin is getting more itchy too. Thanks dz for the names of antihistimines! My skin has been extrememly dry and itchy. Your friend is lucky to have you. Lynn I am new to the group becuse I have a friend going through this right now...and am looking for info to help her too. She has taken her 18th shot and counting down to the 6 more left. she did really well with them the first part but I have seen her having a harder time each week she takes the shots...she is still working every day ...and then takes her shots friday night and is basically in bed al weekend and okay to go to work monday again.... the shots leave bruises for up to 4 weeks....is this common? She is tired al the time and often has a nap after work or is in bed at 7-8 pm.. no life basically. She has been REALLY positive thoughout and I am always amazed at her. She is also struggling with depression but the dcotor won't give her another drug in her system...also her hair is falling out in handfuls these last 3 weeks is that common too? Her blood counts have been good through out. Also as she counts down to the last treatmen we wonder how long it takes to feel NORMAL again? after. I really appreciate help with these questions and all teh best to you all struggling with this.. it is horrible.. I pray you have good support and loved ones to help you. janice
