Guest guest
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy, but am waiting to see a Dr. at a cancer center to have more testing done. I have been researching alternative therapies and have become quite confused and overwhelmed. I think part of the problem is that I'm 40 with 3 children, one is 2 years old. I do realize that there are problems with the medical and pharmaceutical systems in our country. It is really hard for me to pooh-pooh conventional therapy at this point, but I can see a great benefit from alternative therapy. I've read a lot on the internet and have requested some books from my library. My biggest drawback is how do I change my ENTIRE diet?? Especially while trying to feed my family at the same time. It seems I could spend all day mixing and eating and popping pills. We are an active family and we don't/can't eat at home every night, how do I handle eating out?? I am just overwhelmed right now, but want to do the right thing. I'm almost afraid to put anything in my mouth anymore. Can anyone simplify and make sense of all of this for me? Thanks so much!
