Guest guest
Hi all yes I am very liberal thinker especially to what for me was a fun drug in my early 20's. But my dad has been a user from the age of 16 may he is now close to 68 and seeing the pain of my family watching him deteriate due to asophageal cancer and the pain he endures. Well the simple reasoning is I personally would not like to see my kids get hooked on it or even play around with it. With my cancer diagnoses I changed my lifestyle and i have tried very hard to get my kids to see the benefits of doing so as well. But A mom can only do so much the rest is up to the person themselves. But I keep trying and trying and I will scare them to death about the woes of drugs and I hope and pray they dont have to go through the pain of being told they have cancer. No matter how much fun I had with it myself. Life is tough and I no longer take life for granted and neither should my kids and anybody else for that matter. Now I do not want to upset anybody this is just my opinion. We are all entitled to our opinions right. warmest regards Odettexxxxxx
Guest guest
The person making the 'lazy' statement did not say " all " when discussing lazy attributes amongst 'dope smokers'. I think we are confusing the sometimes smoker with the heavy user. No different when discussing alcohol consumption. We all know people that function as well as anyone else thought they may have wine with dinner or a 'joint' from time to time. We also know those that abuse substances and eventually cannot function and worse, become ill. I guess we can all agree that most things, done in moderation, are OK. Remember, however, that archaic criminal laws may change the result. Joe C.
