Thanks, , for that info about the turbo oven. I saw an

infomercial on them on the boob tube, and was all ready to buy one, but

then started reading reviews of them on Amazon.com and elsewhere, and

quickly lost my enthusiasm for them. Some reviews said they outright

stunk, that they didn't work anything like they were supposed to, that

they quickly broke, that accessories didn't work properly.

There were also some people who said they loved them, but the really

dismal reviews scared me off from buying one.

My wife and I have a convection oven and a dehydrator that we use

instead of the microwave. All we had to do was decide to slow down just

a tiny bit, and we were satisfied with what the convection oven is able

to do.

Just my opinion on turbo ovens. If any members have one, I'd like to

hear from them what they think of theirs.

Hi, .

What kind of hot air oven do you have---brand? Price? Does it work via

infra red and blown hot air, or...?

There are pages and pages of information available for anyone to read

who still feels that microwaving is a safe way to cook food. I am not

sure how safe they are for re-heating, but even if they are, one should

not re-heat in plastic, and it seems strange to me that even when one

is re-heating foods that thy so quickly pop and splatter. Something

wrong there...

I have a Galloping Gourmet Perfection Aire convection oven.

I have tried to find it on the web and it seems the only place I have

found one is on ebay. Here is the web site to see it.

I bought mine from someone and I have had it a while. I do like it

though. But like I said it is not as fast as a microwave.

No matter what you put in a microwave it kills the all the nutiriton in

it in a second.

Russia outlawed microwaves in their country. America should be so smart

too.
