Having a Epsom salts bath works or go and have a steam/sauna it's helped me sweat a lot of the toxins out. Diarrhoea also tends to occur when something is so poisonous it irritates the bowel which goes into overdrive to get rid of it so this suggests the meds are working just help it along by doing other things to eliminate through your other organs. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, yes, as everyone has read I am having quite a hard time. I am not sleeping either which is really getting to me. My bowel I believe is keeping me up because it is so inflamed. I feel exhausted yet wired. My nervous system is in overdrive. Anyway, the worst part is I wish there was a doctor out there who could say, " oh yes I have seen this before " , because unlike die off symptoms I have had in the past, this is worse than anything I have ever experienced. If I keep experiencing lack of sleep, I will not continue taking it. That is where I draw the line, last night I got 3 hours. When I was on diflucan and feeling better on it, I slept great. Now the diflucan doesn't work anymore. I will take an epsom salts bath. thanks!!! Holly Dawn Wood <dawn@...> wrote: you should try other methods to help you detox quicker. Guest guest
I'm glad to hear that someone has the same experience; I have also intense nightmares, and even when I can sleep through the night I do not feel rested. Guest guest
Hi I don't know exactly what the cause is. All i do know is that this candida has cause so many problems. starting in my gut and now is everywhere. There are many drugs for sleeping problems, i have lorazepam or ativan. There is the ambien, i see adds on TV for it. These are the kind of nightmares i have had with fever but i don't have a fever..I don't have a problem falling asleep (within 5 or 10 minutes) just staying asleep.. It's definitely not fun especially when i have to get up early for work. <>< From: Garet Cooke <sunfiche@...> Reply-candidiasis candidiasis Subject: Re: Digest Number 1837 Date: Tue, 5 Aug 2003 14:02:23 -0700 (PDT) I'm glad to hear that someone has the same experience; I have also intense nightmares, and even when I can sleep through the night I do not feel rested. Guest guest
Hi I've taken lorazepam too. I know the drugs help you relax, but if you going to get better and get the candida under control, you have to stop the drugs. Guest guest
In a message dated 9/8/2004 12:58:28 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: ---------------------------- This is the main part of the Budwig Protocol. There is more to it even than this. So, for the readers of this group, I have to say, MJH, with all due respect, your son was NOT on the Budwig Protocol. 1) The drugs he has to use would not be part of the protocol, and 2) the amount of oil he was ingesting doesn't match the protocol. Even as a prevention or maintenance phase of Budwig, I notice that most people on the group are taking the amount in one of the mixtures: 3 tbs FO & 6 Tbs CC plus 2 tbs ground flaxseed. I'm sorry to have to disagree with your statements, MJH, but I believe that it is very important to present Dr. Budwig's amazing protocol that has healed hundreds of terminal patients and is still doing so today, based on the many testimonials in the FlaxseedOil2 files, just as she outlined it. It is a scientific formula. We can't do something different than what the protocol recommends and at the same time say we were following it. .. ..>>> My son would die quickly if withdrawn from the pharmaceuticals to control his seizures. When I started him on the protocol, he had had a real food healthy diet for ov er thirty years. It was not vegetarian, but low in animal fats with lots of veggies and greens. No sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes, caffeine, pop, transfats and etc. for YEARS. No junk food or snackfoods. No processed foods, refined foods, 'prepared' foods. (except for a few condiments. And, I do not recall this no drug issue in the two English translations of her work which I read about three years ago.... and have since given to others to read along with a pint of oil, pound of seed and some yoghurt. Charlie was getting the flaxseed oil, ground flaxseed and yoghurt four times a day.... we have always included ground flaxseed in our diet from a cultural standpoint..... just did not count that 'extra' flaxseed in reportings. And, just lately Cliff Beckwith who popularized Budwig's protocol, confirmed that many testimonials were from the addition of the flaxseed oil and sulfurated proteins WITHOUT ANY OTHER DIETARY CHANGES, implying some were getting results while continuing to indulge in the Standard American Diet.. And in varying amounts of the oil. The Budwig protocol has been refined a whole lot since Wilhelm's active interest and ability to translate her other works...... the more that is known, the better for those in need. BUT, remember again that Beckwith saw results without the stringency now considered the mainstay of the Budwig protocol. mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
Guest guest
Dear MJH, I have read your posts on FO2 as well as CFSMExperimental for several years. I've read your homepage about the fire and The Basil Book. And I've read Charlie's page. I know that you are a loving, dedicated, hard-working and very knowledgeable woman who would do anything you can to help your son. I don't question that for a minute. And it seems that you have had more than your share of challenges. I know that Charlie can't stop the pharmaceuticals, they are needed. We don't know what effect his prescriptions may have had on the amount of flaxseed oil, yogurt & ground flaxseeds that he was taking in. We do know that Dr. Budwig said that " chemicals " can not be part of her protocol, so she undoubtly believed they could interfere with the results. Some people, like Cliff and others, can do a partial or varied protocol and still be lucky enough to have success. However, if it hadn't worked for them, they couldn't say that the " The Protocol " was unsuccessful for them because they weren't really following it as outlined. They were lucky that the little bit that they knew and did helped them. That's the point I want to make for other readers here. The protocol that was used in Dr. Budwig's research is very specific, and just like a recipe for a particular cake, if anyone changes any part of it, they risk getting different results. So, I want everyone to know that either they are following the Budwig Protocol or they are not. It is a scientific formula that, if followed exactly, can have amazing effects on the body; but if there are any variations, then we can't say that we followed her rules. And, from what I have read, she was very demanding about her rules. After all, she was a top scientist and doctor; she would be exacting in her brilliant formula that she researched and used with patients. It's possible the drugs Charlie must take kept the amount of flaxoil/yogurt/flaxseeds he was eating from having the positive effect that they could have. That's probably why Dr. Budwig, as well as Max Gerson, said " no chemicals. " I'm guessing that the same is true of Ann Wigmore's cancer healing Living Foods Diet. Healing diets can be overpowered by drugs. Maybe that suggests that we have to take more of the healing foods to counteract the drugs. I don't know. I respect and admire all that you do and find it difficult to have to have a difference in discussion with you. My goal is to keep clarifying what the Budwig Protocol is and what it isn't according the the writings by Wilhelm, who as you mentioned, has read many of Dr. Budwig's books in the original German, and has written her protocol in the files of the " FlaxSeedOil2 " group. Best wishes to you and to Charlie, foxhillers wrote: > > .>>> > > My son would die quickly if withdrawn from the pharmaceuticals to control his seizures. > > When I started him on the protocol, he had had a real food healthy diet for over thirty years.
